Three Generations - Family Photoshoot - Swansea

Let me tell you about this shoot....⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Shirleyann reached out to me towards the end of last year as she wanted to book a family photography session as a present for her mum.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

She wanted something relaxed and fun so I knew I was the photographer for her. She loved my unposed, natural style and felt far more comfortable with this than anything formal/posed. I thought I was dreaming, it all sounded absolutely ideal and I was getting all the positive vibes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We were FINALLY let out of lockdown, we booked a date and chose Loughor Estuary, Swansea as the location. ⠀⠀

THEN.....⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The glorious welsh sunshine we were having... DISAPPEARED.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Did we panic? Did we stress? Nu-uh. We planned ahead and had a contingency, if rained too bad we would reschedule.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It rained. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But LUCKILY....⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A few hours passed and at the time of the shoot we were finally BLESSED with some sunshine and we captured some AMAZING photos. This super sweet moment between mother and daughter being just one of them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So the moral of this story is:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1. You can't predict Welsh Weather.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

2. Do not stress over things you cannot control.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

3. Unplanned and unposed moments are the best.
