Outdoor Family Photo Session

Let me take you back to a gorgeous but slightly overcast Saturday afternoon in May. I had been booked for a photoshoot in Swansea - a family session for 4 young boys aged 2 - 12.

My client wanted to get some lovely relaxed photos of her boys playing together and chose Loughor Estuary, Swansea as the location as it was right on her doorstep.

I absolutely love a challenge and I knew getting not only 4 young boys to look in the same direction wasn't going to be easy.... but 4 boys aged between 2 and 12! Gosh I would have to be on my A-Game.

The weather that day in Swansea was perfect. Not too hot, not too bright. The conditions down in Loughor Estuary were great and we were able to let the boys run around and be themselves.

As you can see, with my style of photography I keep all my family sessions very relaxed and fun. I just take my camera and run after the children whilst they show off their personalities. These 4 were absolute angels and took some slight prompts when needed but other than that I just let them play and be happy.
